Mission: To promote and foster transportation planning and improvements that preserve the natural, historic, and agricultural resources of Fauquier County and protect the county's unique quality of life through education and leadership in transportation associated areas.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Attend meetings of the County Transportation Committee and VDOT, and attend Prince William County Town Hall meetings in the Gainesville area to prepare reports for the CFFC Board of Directors.
- Monitor the VDOT planning website and prepare monthly reports on plans and construction in and around Fauquier County.
- Monitor County transportation planning and construction activity and prepare status reports for the CFFC Board.
- Conduct research and analysis of regional transportation planning and prepare analysis and recommendation for the CFFC Board regarding CFFC's position and potential actions.
