Historic Resources Committee

 

Mission:
To use all of the county, state, and federal tools that are available to promote and preserve Fauquier County's natural and historic resources.

The committee intends to educate existing local preservation organizations regarding those tools and, where possible, facilitate collaboration between county residents and officials responsible for historic preservation programs.

Volunteers are need to:

- Help research areas that could be named a Rural Historic District.

- Help educate these communities about the Rural Historic District program.

- Work with county government and other local organizations on historic preservation.
