Mission: To inform members of the CFFC Board about upcoming budget, capital improvement spending, bond issuance, and other financial issues that could affect tax rates and/or County spending; To provide assistance to the CFFC Board or other volunteers on issues and process that could benefit from CFFC public information or testimony.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Do document research in places such as the Dept. of Community Development to help us build a model to predict the tax impacts of various types of development in the county.
- Work with Excel and/or model building and with graphic presentation development.
- Researchand identify legal expertise in matters regarding local autonomy vs. the Dillon rule in VA.
