How Much Growth
A key element to managing growth is having a good understanding of the communities' growth potential.  CFFC continues to work to develop a more complete picture of current growth potential, and an understanding where in the County this growth could occur.  While the intent expressed in the County's Comprehensive Plan is to centralize residential growth in our service districts, the analysis shown in the table below indicates that the number of dwellings which can be built in our rural districts, and in our towns and villages, could each nearly equal the dwelling counts (and population) of our service districts.  As our research develops a more refined view of Fauquier County's growth potential we will update this page.
